Williamsville Junior Football is a non-profit, organized tackle football league for football players and cheerleaders. All participants must live  in the Amherst, Sweet Home or  Williamsville school districts. Williamsville Junior Football is the oldest sanctioned youth football league in Amherst, founded in 1965.  Our home games are played at the Amherst Northtown Center (see map) at our own lighted facility. Williamsville Junior Football belongs to the "NEW" Jim Kelly Youth Football League. All of our games are played against local teams within the JKYFL. The League is divided into four divisions based on the players age and weight as of 8/1:

The Pee-Wee division is an instructional team and represents WJF.  WJF sets the number of teams based on registration.  Per JKYFL rules, a Pee-Wee team must accompany our highest ranked franchise.  At the end of the season, returning athletes will be drafted into our other franchises to balance out experience and numbers.

There are six teams with an associated cheerleading squad managed by experienced cheerleading coach.

Our goal is to provide a quality, instructional program that promotes a positive attitude towards athletic competition in a safe and encouraging environment
